Personal jewellery is made individually, so returns work differently from ordinary retail products.
RingItOn aims to help customers make informed decisions before production begins while balancing the custom-made nature of personalised jewellery.

1. Returns For Non-Custom Items
For eligible non-custom made items, RingItOn may accept returns within 7 days from the date the item is received.
To qualify for return:
- The item must remain in original packaging
- The item must be unworn and in resaleable condition
- The item must not show signs of damage, modification or wear
- Proof of purchase or tax invoice must be provided
Once the returned item is received and inspected, RingItOn may issue a refund of the original purchase price minus shipping and transaction-related costs where applicable.
Returned items that show signs of wear, damage, resizing, scratches or modification may be rejected or subject to partial deductions.
2. Custom-Made Jewellery
Most RingItOn jewellery is custom-made or personalised according to customer selections.
This may include:
- Custom names or initials
- Personal symbols or dates
- Custom ring sizes
- Specific gemstone selections
- Special metal combinations
- Custom design modifications
- Made-to-order manufacturing
Because custom-made jewellery is individually produced and generally cannot be restocked or resold, there is normally no change-of-mind refund once production or manufacturing has commenced.
Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing:
- Ring size
- Stone selection
- Metal type
- Design details
- Engraving or personalisation
- Shipping information
before approving production.
3. Silver Sample / Peace Of Mind Option
For selected designs, RingItOn may offer a silver sample or prototype option before proceeding to the final precious-metal version.
This allows customers to experience:
- Scale and proportions
- General design feel
- Wearability
- Visual direction
before committing to gold, platinum or higher-value gemstone production.
Prototype or sample pieces are still custom-made items and may not qualify for refund once produced unless otherwise agreed.
4. Deposits & Production Commitment
Where a deposit-based production arrangement is used, the deposit secures:
- Design preparation
- Production scheduling
- CAD or rendering work
- Material sourcing
- Manufacturing preparation
Deposits may therefore be non-refundable after work has commenced, even if the customer later changes their mind.
5. Manufacturing Faults & Incorrect Items
If an item arrives with a verified manufacturing fault, missing component or confirmed discrepancy from the approved order details, please contact RingItOn promptly at:
We may request:
- Clear photographs
- Order information
- Description of the issue
- Return of the item for inspection
If a genuine manufacturing issue is confirmed, RingItOn may offer:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Remake
- Partial refund
- Full refund where appropriate
6. Design Preview & Render Differences
Digital previews, renderings, animations and design simulations are visual references only.
Final jewellery may vary slightly due to:
- Metal casting behaviour
- Stone variation or availability
- Polishing and hand-finishing
- Manufacturing tolerances
- Screen colour differences
Reasonable differences between digital previews and the final product are not automatically considered faults.
7. Ring Size Responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing accurate sizing information.
If a ring is produced according to the size confirmed by the customer, incorrect sizing will generally not be treated as a manufacturing fault.
Some rings may be resizable, while others cannot safely be resized due to design structure or stone setting layout.
Resizing may involve additional charges.
8. Third-Party Work
Any jewellery that has been modified, resized, repaired or worked on by a third party may no longer qualify for return, remake or warranty coverage.
Third-party work can alter structural integrity and make accurate assessment difficult.
9. Damage After Delivery
Returns and refunds generally do not apply to damage caused after delivery through:
- Accidental impact
- Improper handling
- Daily wear and tear
- Chemical exposure
- Stone loss from wear or impact
- Improper storage
- External modification
Jewellery is delicate and should be worn and handled with reasonable care.
10. Return Shipping
Customers should contact RingItOn before returning any item.
Returned items should be packaged securely and shipped using appropriate tracking and insurance where necessary.
RingItOn is not responsible for returned items lost or damaged during return shipping arranged by the customer.
11. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this Return Policy excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
Where products have major faults or issues covered by law, customers may be entitled to remedies under applicable legislation.
12. Contact
If you require assistance regarding returns, faults or order concerns, please contact:
Please include your order number, photographs and a short description of the issue to help us assess the matter more efficiently.
Personal jewellery should feel considered before it is made.
RingItOn encourages customers to review, preview and confirm designs carefully before production so the final piece feels meaningful and intentional.
